SEXUAL HARASSMENT
South Sanpete School District has the following policy in place, which address Sexual Harassment:
Sexual Harassment may include, but is not limited to the following:
- Verbal harassment or abuse (stalking).
- Inappropriate patting or pinching.
- Intentional brushing up against another person.
- Any unwelcome sexually motivated touching or language.
Harassment complaints should be reported to the administration. All complaints will be documented in writing.
One or more of the following disciplinary steps will be taken:
- Verbal warning
- Suspension from school
- Expulsion from school
- Referral to juvenile court
- Mandatory counseling
- Etc.
